Terms and Conditions For JGDP Players

  1. Selected junior player must be a NSRCC (the Club) Family member age 16 (or 14) years old and below as of 1 Jan.
  2. A maximum number of 12 juniors will be selected to take part in the respective JGDP categories based on the Order of Merit.
  3. A junior can take part in JGDP for a maximum of 2 years. His/her 3rd year inclusion will be subjected to approval of the Club.
  4. All juniors with Sports School (SSC)/Golf Academy will not be eligible to participate in JGDP.
  5. Any member of the squad joined SSC halfway through JGDP will be taken out of the programme. There will be no refund of lesson fees.
  6. JGDP will end on 31 December each year and there will be no refund of lesson fees or extension of sponsorship under whatsoever circumstances.
  7. JGDP players will undergo a training program developed by the NSRCC golf professionals.
  8. Parents and JGDP players must commit to JGDP training at all times.
  9. Parents must agree to pay the respective fees (20% or 50%) payable to the NSRCC teaching professionals and/or other instructors (if applicable).
  10. JGDP players may enroll in 3 SGA sanctioned and/or Club approved golf tournaments for JGDP. The Club will reimburse the respective Club approved expenses (50% or 80%) if they enroll in these events.
  11. Qualified JGDP players will take part in the SGA National Youth Trial.
  12. JGDP players will be disqualified automatically from JGDP for failing to maintain a top 10 (Team A) or  top 16 (Team B) or better position in the Order of Merit for 2 consecutive years.
  13. They must achieve a handicap index of 6 or lower at age 17 in order qualify for the SGA National Junior Squad selection. SGA may change its pre-trial entry qualification without prior notice.
  14. Any JGDP player who is absent for 3 or more training lessons consecutively, without any notice or valid reason, will be disqualified automatically from JGDP and there will be no refund for the fees paid to the teaching professionals.
  15. The Club with recommendations from coaches/committee member reserved the right to disqualify any junior from JGDP based on bad behavior, misconduct and dishonesty.
  16. Any JGDP player who is not able to abide by the above terms will lose the club’s sponsorship automatically. His or her entitlement to the sponsorship will cease from the day of his/her disqualification from the squad. There will be no refund of lesson fees.
  17. The Club will be the sole authority on the selection of JGDP players and its decision is final. The Club is not obliged to explain or discuss its final decision with members.
  18. The Club reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
