Hands in Clay, Hearts Aglow - A Pottery Journey

On 10 May, members stepped into a world of clay and creativity at the Pottery: Wheel Throwing Workshop along Arumugam Road.

Jointly organised by NSRCC and Arudio—a Singapore-based ceramics studio nestled along that very road—the session offered more than just an introduction to pottery. It was a meditative journey of self-expression and artistry.

With hands steady and hearts open, members shaped vases, cups, and bowls—each piece a quiet reflection of their personal stories, cultural heritage, and social identity. As the wheel turned, so too did a newfound appreciation for the timeless beauty of pottery.

The workshop became a canvas for creativity and character. It nurtured not only the imagination but also cultivated patience, resilience, and the quiet tenacity needed to bring raw clay to life. In every curve and contour, a spirit of tenacity emerged—proof that within each of us lies the power to shape something enduring, meaningful, and beautiful.
